Core features

GuardRail is free to download from the App Store. All core Screen Time features are available without a purchase or subscription.

Voluntary support

GuardRail offers three optional consumable in-app purchases for voluntary support. They may be purchased more than once, provide no digital entitlement or extra feature, and do not affect normal use. The App Store handles payment and applicable refund requests.

Permitted use

Use GuardRail only on a device you own or are authorized to manage, and follow local law, Apple's service terms, and system permission rules.

System limitations

GuardRail depends on Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks. System scheduling, permission status, or iOS changes may affect reminder timing and availability.

License agreement

The app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. If this page conflicts with Apple's standard agreement, that agreement and applicable law control.
